This page is an information page on the charities I support through my online activities.  I have monthly charities I put all bits to, unless you pick one of the others.  Below are details about how donations and support is used with each charity.

If you wish to nominate a speicifc charity, and goal for a charity, say to get honey for 2 bears, let me know what you want when you donate.

Charity 1 – The Fred Hollows Foundation

The Fred Hollows Foundation is an Australian based foundation that helps people in remote and poor areas have eye surgery to give back site to people in need all over the world.  For every $25 donated to the charity they guarantee that one person will get their eye sight back.  I have personally donated to them for years, and think of the foundation as one of the best charities to donate to.

“I might be a do-gooder, but if doing good is preventing people going blind and curing curable blindness I don’t care what they call me.”

– Professor Fred Hollows

“Fred Hollows is a legendary Australian whose legacy continues to change the world today.

Fred never took no for an answer, and he never let anyone tell him something couldn’t be done – especially when it came to restoring sight.”

“Over 950 bears rescued! Just like our founder Mary Hutton, you can make a difference.”

Become a “Bear Carer” yourself.

Charity 4 – Beyond Blue

Items are priced off normal prices.  Check their page for all the details on all of the options they have.  This organisation is focused on saving orangutans and their habitat in South East Asia.  The Orangutan Project rescues these amazing cousins of ours, and tries to keep them safe.

“3 million Australians are living with anxiety or depression”

Beyond Blue provides information and support to help everyone in Australia achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live.
